Life is not about avoiding the storms, it is about learning to live with the rain.
Dear friends and family;
And it looks like the Lord has covered me with mercy… THE BIOPSY WAS NEGATIVE… and even though … nobody gets through life without a storm or two, the Lord has determined, at least for the time being, it will not be this storm at this time. I choose to believe that it was your prayers that made the difference, thank you from the bottom of my heart.

From the blog:
Blogger Bud…Do you remember 1987…….
Thought you might be interested in this forgotten bit of information………
It was 1987! At a lecture the other day they were playing an old news video of
Lt. Col. Oliver North testifying at the Iran-Contra hearings during the Reagan
Administration.
There was Ollie in front of God and country getting the third degree, but what he said was stunning!
He was being drilled by a senator; ‘Did you not recently spend close to $60,000 for a home security system?’
Ollie replied, ‘Yes, I did, Sir.’
The senator continued, trying to get a laugh out of the audience, ‘Isn’t that just a little excessive?’
‘No, sir,’ continued Ollie.
‘No? And why not?’ the senator asked.
‘Because the lives of my family and I were threatened, sir.’
‘Threatened? By whom?’ the senator questioned.
‘By a terrorist, sir’ Ollie answered.
‘Terrorist? What terrorist could possibly scare you that much?’
‘His name is Osama bin Laden, sir’ Ollie replied.
At this point the senator tried to repeat the name, but couldn’t pronounce it, which most people back then probably couldn’t. A couple of people laughed at the attempt.. Then the senator continued. Why are you so afraid of this man?’ the senator asked.
‘Because, sir, he is the most evil person alive that I know of’, Ollie answered.
‘And what do you recommend we do about him?’ asked the senator.
‘Well, sir, if it was up to me, I would recommend that an assassin team be formed to eliminate him and his men from the face of the earth.’
The senator disagreed with this approach, and that was all that was shown of the clip. By the way, that senator was Al Gore!
Terrorist pilot Mohammad Atta blew up a bus in Israel in 1986. The Israelis captured, tried and imprisoned him. As part of the Oslo agreement with the Palestinians in 1993, Israel had to agree to release so-called ‘political prisoners.’ However, the Israelis would not release any with blood on their hands, The American President at the time, Bill Clinton, and his Secretary of State, Warren Christopher, ‘insisted’ that all prisoners be released.
Thus Mohammad Atta was freed and eventually thanked us by flying an airplane into Tower One of the World Trade Center. This was reported by many of the American TV networks at the time that the terrorists were first identified.
It was censored in the US from all later reports.
From Norma:
The movie Corpus Christi is due to be released this June to August.
This disgusting film is set to appear in America later this year and it depicts
Jesus and his disciples as homosexuals! As a play, this has already been in
theatres for a while. It’s called Corpus Christi ‘ which means ‘The Christ
Body.’ It’s a revolting mockery of our Lord. But we can make a difference.
That’s why I am sending this e-mail to you. If you do send this around, we may
be able to prevent this film from showing in America and South Africa
Apparently, some regions in Europe have already banned the film. We need a lot
of prayers and a lot of e-mails. As a Christian I want to take a stand in what I believe in and stop the mockery of Jesus Christ our Savior.
Marilyn Whittaker updates us on the Curtis Bergman family with a letter from him:
Dear Family and Friends,
Life can be very difficult, and God can show us mercy or justice… I was shown mercy today, or at least told by Him that my mission on this side is not complete. There are many things that happen that I may never understand, i.e. answered prayer and mercy… but God does understand and He loves me (and you), so that has to be enough. 2 Cor 5:7 says, “For we walk by faith, not by sight:” This is never easy for me to do right now, but I know that all God desires of me is to trust Him and keep going. Having said that, I’d like to thank all of you for praying for us during this very tough time. Thanks also for the many gifts, cards and flowers! I’m grateful to not have to worry about money at a time like this.
Many of you have asked what we’ll do next, and I’ve been wondering that too! For now I’d like to not close any doors that God hasn’t closed. I went to the interview today for Permanent Residence (Green Card) here in USA. I wasn’t sure exactly what to expect, I knew it was possible the whole application could be denied. So I asked the Lord to show me what to do next. To my surprise the application was approved today, so I am now officially a permanent resident here! So for now at least we’ll plan on living here in NH with Joanna’s parents (who are a big help with the kids).
I’d still appreciate your prayers about whether I should stay with the mission and look for a ministry that would work for our new family, or whether I should get a job here in NH and step out of NTM for now.
For those of you in NS, we are planning on coming up for a couple weeks in August, so we hope to see many of you soon!
Once again, thanks for praying, it is good to know that we have been brought before God over and over,
Curtis for Natalie, Reuben & Kaylie Bergman

Be Blessed and Be a Blessing,
Dr. B
Hi Dr. B,
After reading about the dollar coins, I had to check, because I carry those around all the time. “In God We Trust” is still there but has been moved to the lower left on the face (starting with John Tyler, I think). Hard to read, but still there.
Thank the Lord for your negative biopsy.
Lord willing, I will fly to ORL Fri, 27th-now that summer finally arrived;-)) Hugs to y’all, NP
