The Obvious: Obama’s Policies Cannot Work…
As I read the headlines last week: Socialized Medical Reforms Being Pushed by Obama; New Debate on Amnesty to Begin in Congress, Stimulus Bill a Failure, and “Cap and Trade” Will Be the Single Largest Tax Increase in the Nation’s History; I wondered, is it possible our President thinks these socialized programs can work when they never have been successful in any other nation? So I decided to review the origin of these policies. I went straight to the historic source for any socialistic policy. I turned to the most popular philosophic source which champions the collective, Karl Marx. I reviewed Marx’s writings via original and secondary sources and one thing stood out… what separated Marx from other philosophers is that “he claimed to know what was best for society”. Moreover, rather than waiting for society to “evolve” into the proper behavior (i.e. Hegel), he arrogantly concluded since he ‘knew’ what was best for society, that it was more expedient to encouraged violent means to overthrow the status quo. Make no mistake, until this administration Marxism and communism had all but been discarded. The twentieth century had been a dismal and tragic failure for communism; leaving in its wake some 360 million souls sacrificed at the Marxian alter. Many experts posited the only place where Marxism was alive and well on the planet, before Obama’s rein, was the American university campus… and that is exactly the society from which Obama and his minions emanated. They ignored the tragic results of communism and success of capitalism, and taught communism as fair and accomplished, and simultaneously, taught capitalism as both flawed and failed.
By midweek our Commander and Chief, as well as his minions in the press, chose to ignore the threats from North Korea and the atrocities in Iran in favor of his next fiscal fiasco. It is called “cap and trade” and passed the House on Friday, June 26th by a very narrow margin. The Wall Street Journal summarized it as the “largest tax increase in the history of the nation”. While charading as a carbon tax for Americans pundits refuse to acknowledge the administration has no way of making other nations, i.e. India and China, adopt the same standards. Thus, while he claims there will be no negative effects on employment, he has not factored in the jobs which will be sent ‘over there’ while our energy costs skyrocket ‘over here’. Therefore, it is obvious to all but the hopelessly progressive, that this ‘green’ policy will export jobs, while dumping our economy from a severe recession into a depression. According to the Wall Street Journal (June 26, 2009): “The whole point of cap and trade is to hike the price of electricity and gas so that Americans will use less. These higher prices will show up not just in electricity bills or at the gas station but in every manufactured good, from food to cars. Consumers will cut back on spending, which in turn will cut back on production, which results in fewer jobs created or higher unemployment. Some companies will instead move their operations overseas, with the same result. … Republicans offered three amendments: one to suspend the program if gas hit $5 a gallon; one to suspend the program if electricity prices rose 10% over 2009; and one to suspend the program if unemployment rates hit 15%. Democrats defeated all of them. … The reality is that cost estimates for climate legislation are as unreliable as the models predicting climate change. What comes out of the computer is a function of what politicians type in. A better indicator might be what other countries are already experiencing. Britain’s Taxpayer Alliance estimates the average family there is paying nearly $1,300 a year in green taxes for carbon-cutting programs in effect only a few years… Americans should know that those Members who vote for this climate bill are voting for what is likely to be the biggest tax in American history. Even Democrats can’t repeal that reality.” As Paul Newman’s nemesis in “Cool Hand Luke” might have said: “What we have here is a failure to communicate.” Obama never told us the specifics of the changes he was going to make, because “he knows” what is best for America… and you can bet your last dollar that amnesty and Social Security benefits for those 20 million or so Hispanic voters are next on his agenda.

That is not true. The grandmother said on the tape that Obama was born in Hawaii, not Kenya, and no other relative has said that he was born in Kenya.
The grandmother can be heard clearly saying “America, Hawaii” after the question “whereabouts was he born?” on this tape, which is the original tape posted by Berg.
While this blogger may or may not be correct about Obama’s grandmother, the fact remains, all our President needs do is produce his birth certificate and this whole thing goes away. Yet, this common document, which every citizen MUST present for various documentation throughout their lives, is nowhere to be found. The only document thus far produced (by the Democratic National Committee) was a very poor facsimile (an obvious forgery)… which merely raised the conspiracy up a notch or two. I have but one request: Mr. President, may we please see your birth certificate… Dr B
