Did you know that the ACLU has filed a suit to have all military cross-shaped headstones removed and another suit to end prayer from the military completely? They’re making great progress. The Navy Chaplains can no longer mention Jesus’ name in prayer thanks to the retched ACLU and our new administration.

Prayer Requests and Updates:

Son Tim is sick in NYC… could be flu, please pray.
David passed the kidney stone on Tues; Scott came home from the hospital on Monday, both are still in pain, please continue to pray.
Clint: to find his son in Viet Nam and have the opportunity to present salvation to him
We have been praying for Joanna, a missionary who has three children and recently undergone brain surgery for tumor removal. Please continue to pray.
Our Brother Pat (liver transplant) is still having problems with his liver disease. His kidney numbers are improving, but still not out of the woods. He may need dialysis if his kidneys do not improve. I spoke to him yesterday his lab work is improving… please pray.
Pastor Neil S. (long time close friend) has submitted his resume to 3 churches in the WNY area… we continue to pray for God’s Will in his ministry. Please continue to pray
Cousin Pastor Sam (Prostate Cancer) and his Mom, broken ankle- no update.
Niece Rhonda is still weak but continues to work… continue to pray for strength and healing.
Brother Les is about the same, but gets disheartened. The burden is heavy and he has lost about 40 lbs. Please keep both Val and Les in prayer.
Transplants: Good Friend Keith – liver, Brother Pat – liver (see above); Good Friend Jim – kidney … please keep praying for their well being.

Sister Jane, Cousins Janet and Karen for strength. All suffering from MS. Janet is now in a nursing facility.
Unity for our family
Tolerance, Christ’s Love, and Understanding for our families, friends, and enemies
Bonnie Erbie (author accusing Christians of being knuckle draggers), prayer for salvation.
Pray for wisdom and spiritual guidance in rearing children for our family as well as the renewal of the nuclear family; pray that marriage stays as one man, one woman, but rights are extended to same gender unions.
Pray for truth in education… i.e. AIDS, abortion, evolution, and American History
Pray for our troops each evening at 9:00 pm. every night … pray that America wakes up to evil before it is too late
Nephews John and Ryan – Navy and grandson Scott a Marine (see above).
Prayer partners John and Ron and family. For my dear friend Bill’s family (Bill went home to the Lord in May)… for strength and blessings
Please continue to pray for health issues for five of our nieces and Marilyn.

Ken L’s sister-in-law has received a clean bill of health after having lung cancer. She will not have to go back to the doctor for a year.
Willie B’s procedure went well.

Daphne S will have cataract surgery in July.
Jack and Linda F and their daughter Laura as they prepare for her wedding.
