Is Our President a Muslim… or a Christian?

Bones Amid increased unemployment, the removal of combat troops from Iraq, and yet another vacation (six this year); the question of the day seems to be: Is he a Christian or Muslim? This ‘overworked’ president who plays golf every Sunday (rather than attend church) and has enjoyed a rather un-Christian ‘in your face’ elitist, six, count them six, vacations in just one year has a problem… if perception in reality, then reality is catching up with the telflon prince. The Obama family will begin their sixth holiday of the year today, an 11-day sojourn in Martha’s Vineyard, the island destination of the wealthy and well-connected American elite.

Bill Burton, the deputy White House press secretary, said that the US president was “going to spend a little time recharging his batteries” at the Massachusetts island ahead of the November midterm elections. Six holidays, six?  That is about six years worth in those few American household which are still employed.  So, as this president goes from town to town, while not vacationing, assuring us that unemployment is going down, while it continues to go up, it is reminiscent of  ’Rocky’.  As our Italian Stallion is getting pummeled by Mr T we can hear him say: “Ain’t So Bad”. So when it comes to playing golf on Sundays, his six vacations, or his unemployment numbers he has the same answer… “Ain’t So Bad”. But he need only answer the latest question with his actions and one word… yes or no.  Mr. President, are you a Christian or a Muslim?  If you are a Christian you are the only celebrity that I know who has changed his Christian name to Muslim name as an adult and is not Muslim.  You are the only person known to Americans as born to a Muslim father, and claims not to be Muslim.  You are the only person known to us that was educated in Indonesia’s public schools, a prerequisite for which is proclaiming Islam, and not a Muslim. This question was, in no small part, initiated by his controversial statement last weekend in which he came down in favor of building a Mosque at Ground Zero.  This same president and his liberal/progressive counterparts along with the ACLU are constantly taking away religious freedoms (First Amendments) from Christians (prayer in school, bible reading, wearing religious symbols, displaying manger scenes, removing crosses and Ten Commandments from public buildings, etc) , yet insist on bequeathing them on Muslims. Of course the great  majority of Americans understand that Muslims have the right to construct a Mosque where ever they want, but they understand that the sensitivities of building near ground zero. How soon some have forgotten that 3000 American were killed in the name of Islam on that day and at that site.  That is hallowed ground because most bodies were not recover and their pulverized remains still reside at ground zero.  It would be an insult to America, as well as our fighting men and women who have made great sacrifice to defeat the Islamo-fascist terrorists, should we allow this mosque to be built at this site. So when President Obama, while celebrating Ramada: Washington Post … forcefully joined the national debate over construction of an Islamic complex near New York’s Ground Zero, telling guests at a White House dinner marking the holy month of Ramadan that opposing the project is at odds with American values. “Let me be clear: as a citizen, and as president, I believe that Muslims have the same right to practice their religion as anyone else in this country,” Obama said at a White House iftar, the traditional breaking of the daily Ramadan fast. “That includes the right to build a place of worship and a community center on private property in Lower Manhattan, in accordance with local laws and ordinances,” he continued. “This is America, and our commitment to religious freedom must be unshakeable.” First, when is the last time you saw the Prince at an Easter or Christmas, celebration taking a stand for Christian rights?  So, this president’s  image does not exactly scream ‘Christian’.  Second, when he did attend a church he attended the radically fringe church of Rev. Jeremiah Wright who damned America from his pulpit.  Moreover, the theology taught by the Reverend is far from main stream, rather it is the leftist socialistic theology dubbed Liberation Theology. So is it any surprise that Americans are confused by these mixed messages?  Is it any surprise that one in five Americans now believer that President Obama is a Muslim?  Is it any wonder 43% simply ‘do not know’ his faith? Washington Post The number of Americans who believe — wrongly — that President Obama is a Muslim has increased significantly since his inauguration and now accounts for nearly 20 percent of the nation’s population. Those results, from a new Pew Research Center survey, were drawn from interviews done before the president’s comments about the construction of an Islamic cultural center near Ground Zero, and they suggest that there could be serious political danger for the White House as the debate continues. Add this to the Time Magazine Pole (Time Magazine)  that reports 18% of Americans believe he is Muslim, 34% Christian, 2% other, and a whopping 43% say they don’t know. So, what we have here is a failure to communicate. Mr President, if  you are a Christian, why not do Christian things, like go to church, celebrate Christmas and Easter, and standing up for Christian rights… rather than, between vacations, trashing America’s Judeo Christian heritage at every opportunity and open podium throughout the world. A balanced diet is a cookie in each hand. Middle age is when broadness of the mind and narrowness of the waist change places. Opportunities always look bigger going than coming. Junk is something you’ve kept for years and throw away three weeks before you need it. By the time you can make ends meet, they move the ends. Learn from the mistakes of others. Trust me… you can’t live long enough to make them all yourself. I’ve tried!! Senior citizens are constantly being criticized for every conceivable deficiency of the modern world, real or imaginary. We know we take responsibility for all we have done and do not blame others. HOWEVER, upon reflection, we would like to point out that it was NOT the senior citizens who took: The melody out of music, The pride out of appearance, The courtesy out of driving, The romance out of love, The commitment out of marriage, The responsibility out of parenthood, The togetherness out of the family, The learning out of education, The service out of patriotism, The Golden Rule from rulers, The nativity scene out of cities, The civility out of behavior, The refinement out of language, The dedication out of employment, The prudence out of spending, The ambition out of achievement, or, God out of government and school. And we certainly are NOT the ones who eliminated patienceand tolerance from personal relationships and interactions with others!! And, we do understand the meaning of patriotism, and remember those who have fought and died for our country. Just look at the Seniors with tears in their eyes and pride in their hearts as they stand at attention with their hand over their hearts! YES, I’M A SENIOR CITIZEN! I’m the life and soul of the party…… even if it lasts until 8pm. I’m very good at opening childproof caps…. with a hammer. I’m usually interested in going home before I get to where I am going. I’m awake many hours before my body allows me to get up. I’m smiling all the time because I can’t hear a thing you’re saying. I’m very good at telling stories; over and over and over and over… I’m aware that other people’s grandchildren are not nearly as cute as mine. I’m so cared for — long term care, eye care, private care, dental care. I’m not really grouchy,  I just don’t like traffic, waiting in long queues, crowds, lawyers, unruly kids, Toyota commercials, Jonathan Ross, barking dogs, politicians and a few other things I can’t seem to remember right now. I’m sure everything I can’t find is in a safe secure place, somewhere. I’m wrinkled, saggy, lumpy, and that’s just my left leg. I’m having trouble remembering simple words like….. I’m beginning to realize that aging is not for wimps. I’m sure they are making adults much younger these days, and when did they let kids become policemen? I’m wondering, if you’re only as old as you feel, how could I be alive at 150? And, how can my kids be older than I feel sometimes? I’m a walking storeroom of facts….. I’ve just lost the key to the storeroom door. Yes, I’m a SENIOR CITIZEN and I think I am having the time of my life! Now if I could only remember who sent this to me, I wouldn’t send it back to them. This man deserves a Nobel Prize ‘They’re standing on the corner and they can’t speak English. I can’t even talk the way these people talk: Why you ain’t, Where you is, What he drive, Where he stay, Where he work, Who you be… And I blamed the kid until I heard the mother talk. And then I heard the father talk. Everybody knows it’s important to speak English except these knuckleheads. You can’t be a doctor with that kind of crap coming out of your mouth. In fact you will never get any kind of job making a decent living. People marched and were hit in the face with rocks to get an Education, and now we’ve got these knuckleheads walking around. The lower economic people are not holding up their end in this deal. These people are not parenting. They are buying things for kids. $500 sneakers for what? And they won’t spend $200 for Hooked on Phonics. I am talking about these people who cry when their son is standing there in an orange suit. Where were you when he was 2? Where were you when he was 12? Where were you when he was 18 and how come you didn’t know that he had a pistol? And where is the father? Or who is his father? People putting their clothes on backward: Isn’t that a sign of something gone wrong? People with their hats on backward, pants down around the crack, isn’t that a sign of something? Isn’t it a sign of something when she has her dress all the way up and got all type of needles [piercing] going through her body? What part of Africa did this come from?? We are not Africans. Those people are not Africans; they don’t know a thing about   Africa  ….. I say this all of the time.  It would be like white people saying they are European-American.  That is totally stupid. I was born here, and so were my parents and grand parents and, very likely my great grandparents. I don’t have any connection to Africa, no more than white Americans have to   Germany , Scotland , England , Ireland , or the Netherlands . The same applies to 99 percent of all the black Americans as regards to Africa . So stop, already! ! ! With names like Shaniqua, Taliqua and Mohammed and all of that crap ……… and all of them are in jail. Brown or black versus the Board of Education is no longer the white person’s problem. We have got to take the neighborhood back. People used to be ashamed. Today a woman has eight children with eight different ‘husbands’ — or men or whatever you call them now. We have millionaire football players who cannot read. We have million-dollar basketball players who can’t write two paragraphs. We, as black folks have to do a better job. Someone working at Wal-Mart with seven kids, you are hurting us. We have to start holding each other to a higher standard.
