“Life is not about waiting for the storms to pass…it’s about learning how to dance in the rain”
Pray for the new concept of an ‘interactive church’…
A Prayer for America and her people:
God our Father, walk through our nation, take away our idolatries, and restore Your presence to our society. Please watch over, strengthen, and heal our families. We beg You to draw us to You, forgive us our great national sin of apathy (i.e. using Your name in vain, accepting abortion, denying public prayer and public worship, placing the god of materialism before You, questioning your authority in marriage, etc) and forgive us our individual trespasses’, as well as empowering us to forgive those who trespass against us… Lord show us mercy and grace.
We ask this in the name of Jesus our Savior and Messiah
Amen.

The War is won. But you would never know it by the passionless speech of the President last night. First, may I personally thank President Bush and the troops for the hard fought victory in Iraq. And thank you citizens for not forgetting the men and women that gave and risked life and limb for our safety.
But, if I hear another liberal pundit pontificate on not finding Weapons of Mass Destruction (WMD), I may throw my shoe at the television. Why is it that nobody counts the nuclear program Libya’s Moammar Kadafi (who claimed he had Iraqi scientists) revealed when he was frightened after America’s initial success in Iraq (2003) and the toppling of his mentor, Saddam Hussein.
“What the IAEA report shows is that illicit nuclear trade has been around for a long time,” said David Albright, president of the Institute for Science and International Security, a Washington think tank that posted a copy of the report on its website. “It shows that the illicit nuclear trade has been key to the progression of many secret nuclear weapons programs.”
Moreover, there is evidence (satellite photographs and witnesses) that these weapons were hidden in Syria. As recently as June (2010) new evidence, largely ignored by the Main Stream Media, was uncovered:
Ha’aretz has revived the mystery surrounding the inability to find weapons of mass destruction stockpiles in Iraq, the most commonly cited justification for Operation Iraqi Freedom and one of the most embarrassing episodes for the United States. Satellite photos of a suspicious site in Syria are providing new support for the reporting of a Syrian journalist who briefly rocked the world with his reporting that Iraq’s WMD had been sent to three sites in Syria just before the invasion commenced.
The newspaper reveals that a 200 square-kilometer area in northwestern Syria has been photographed by satellites at the request of a Western intelligence agency at least 16 times, the most recent being taken in January. The site is near Masyaf, and it has at least five installations and hidden paths leading underneath the mountains. This supports the reporting of Nizar Nayouf, an award-winning Syrian journalist who said in 2004 that his sources confirmed that Saddam Hussein’s WMDs were in Syria.

Former Iraqi officials corroborate this that assessment:
General Georges Sada, the former second-in-command of the Iraqi Air Force, claimed in his 2006 book that he knew two Iraqi pilots that flew WMD into Syria over the summer of 2002, which came before a later shipment on the ground. I asked Duelfer if Nizar Nayouf or the two Iraqi pilots were spoken with.
Enter President Obama and his speech last night. In this vague and purposeless speech the president mentioned the valor of the military, and, unbelievably but properly, gave credit to his predecessor President GW Bush.
But it is puzzling and worrisome that he neither mentioned a victory or a long term commitment to Iraq. With a nuclear Iran as a next door neighbor, it is imperative that we not give up on freedom for Iraq. We must not leave them without a government or means of defense.
Just as strangely, he inserted his authority to assure the world, and the enemy, of a withdrawal date in Afghanistan. His emotionless speech left me thinking that he will continue to handcuff the troops (Afghanistan), and withdraw, win or lose, on a date certain. If he is serious about this time table without victory, wouldn’t it be more honorable were he to bring the troops home immediately. Why wait?
Incredibly, in the middle of this speech, he hinted at blaming the recession on the cost of the war. He used the withdrawal as a metaphor for conquering America’s economic woes. Yet he presented no new ideas, either for the war or the economy.

The truth falls far short of the president’s synopsis. The truth is that the Iraq War was won and the rational of that war was valid, but both the press and the liberal politics at home have failed America. If we are not committed to victory and a stable government in these nations, how are we to expect they will not return to a breeding ground for terrorists? Most importantly, without a long term commitment to Iraq and Afghanistan, these brave men and women are dying and have died in vain

Low Grades
A high school student came home one nigh rather depressed. “What’s the matter?”
“Mom”, it’s my grades… they’re just well, all wet.”
“What do you mean, all wet?”
“Well, all below C-level.”

BO and BS
There is an old sea story that goes like this:
A ship’s captain took the first mate aside and told him his men ‘smelled’. He told them to change their underwear.
“Aye, Aye sir.” Saluted the first mate.
The first mate went below and said. “Everybody captain says you guys smell and got to change your underwear. Pittman you change with Jones; Schultz you change with Witkowski; and Brown you change with Smith.
The Moral of the Story:
Someone may come along and promise CHANGE, but don’t count on things smelling better.
Spare No Expense
A man was telling his neighbor, ‘I just bought a new hearing aid. Cost me 4 thousand bucks and it’s the state of the art.
“Well, that’s great. What kind is it?”

Sister Val … You Must See This Video
The guy on this video must be a teacher. Not only does he put a different spin on what Obama is doing to help Arizona, he repeats the important parts and speaks slow enough to follow what he is saying. It may be the best video I’ve seen produced on the illegal alien problems that we have.

Jamestown Patti
An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole which she carried across her neck.
One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water.
At the end of the long walks from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full.
For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water.
Of course, the perfect pot was proud of its accomplishments.
But the poor cracked pot was ashamed of its own imperfection, and miserable that it could only do half of what it had been made to do.

After two years of what it perceived to be bitter failure, it spoke to the woman one day by the stream.
‘I am ashamed of myself, because this crack in my side causes water to leak out all the way back to your house.’
The old woman smiled, ‘Did you notice that there are flowers on your side of the path, but not on the other pot’s side?’
‘That’s because I have always known about your flaw, so I planted flower seeds on your side of the path, and every day while we walk back, you water them.’
For two years I have been able to pick these beautiful flowers to decorate the table.
Without you being just the way you are, there would not be this beauty to grace the house.’
Each of us has our own unique flaw. But it’s the cracks and flaws we each have that make our lives together so very interesting and rewarding.
You’ve just got to take each person for what they are and look for the good in them.
SO, to all of my cracked pot friends, have a great day and remember to smell the flowers on your side of the path!

Washington Passes Secret Energy Tax
ALERT: It looks like the climate bill debate has already been decided by Washington and voters didn’t even have a chance to say “NO!” A staggering $65 billion dollars has been transferred from the private sector to fund the Regional Greenhouse Gas Initiative (RGGI.) RGGI is government created entity that is choking companies in the northeast with huge tax increases in the name of the environment. Our tax dollars are funding this secret climate initiative. Soon RGGI will expand to every state and stick you with astronomical energy prices.

RGGI is the nation’s first mandatory greenhouse gas cap and trade regulating entity. This waste of tax dollars is responsible for “making an impact on climate change” in 10 Northeast states. Never mind that GLOBAL WARMING ISN’T EVEN REAL! The only impact RGGI has made so far is they have raised energy prices and created a slush fund for each member state. What exactly that money is being used for is unclear. Each state is capped on their carbon emissions and taxed if they use them up. RGGI added a 0.9% increase in energy prices in New E! ngland.
WASHINGTON CANNOT BE ALLOWED TO SECRETLY TAX ENERGY UNDER THE GUISE OF CLIMATE CHANGE!
The Beltway sense of entitlement is mind boggling. While everyday Americans struggle to pay the bills and live through the stress of the Recession, RGGI is rolling in the dough. RGGI Chief, Jonathan Schrag is living a life most of us could only dream of. In June, Schrag and his wife Kristen purchased a $2.2 million dollar loft in Manhattan. Schrag’s posh condo is 2,000 square feet and has three bedrooms and two bathrooms with a nice view of the Manhattan skyline. Schrag’s luxurious residence is only a five block walk to the RGGI headquarters. I guess he didn’t want to risk creating a carbon foot print by driving to work.
OUR TAX DOLLARS ARE FUNDING LUXURIOUS LIFESTYLES FOR CROOKS
Schrag is paid to keep secrets. He has refused to disclose how much money he makes and the salaries of his employees. Schrag told New ! Jersey Watch Dog to get lost when they asked him to disclose RGGI’s re cords. In the most recent public disclosure requests from the IRS Schrag declined to reveal how much everyone is paid in the organization. Most companies have to reveal to the IRS the salaries of their employees. RGGI is given special treatment because our government is backing their scheme.
Fax or write your Congressman/woman and tell them to stop this action!

How Budweiser handled those who laughed at those who died on the 11th of September,
2001…
Thought you might like to know what happened
in a little town north of Bakersfield , California
After you finish reading this,
please forward this story on to others so that our nation and people around the world
will know about those who laughed:
when they found out about the tragic events
in New York , Pennsylvania , and the Pentagon.
On September 11th,
A Budweiser employee was making a delivery
to a convenience store in a California town
named McFarland..
He knew of the tragedy that had occurred
in New York when he entered the business
to find the two Arabs, who owned the business, whooping and hollering to show their approval
and support of this treacherous attack.
The Budweiser employee went to his truck,
called his boss and told him
of the very upsetting event!

He didn’t feel he could be in that store with those
horrible people. His boss asked him,
‘Do you think you could go in there long enough
to pull every Budweiser product and item
our beverage company sells there?
We’ll never deliver to them again.’
The employee walked in,
proceeded to pull every single product his
beverage company provided and left
with an incredible grin on his face.
He told them never to bother to call for
a delivery again.
Budweiser happens to be the beer of choice
for that community.
Just letting you know how Kern County
handled this situation. And Now
The Rest Of The Story:
It seems that the Bud driver and the Pepsi man
are neighbors. Bud called Pepsi and told him.
Pepsi called his boss who told him to
pull all Pepsi products as well!!!
That would include Frito Lay, etc.
Furthermore, word spread and
all vendors followed suit! At last report, on June 26, 2009,
Fareed Katib closed the store and filed bankruptcy!

From Poignant Pam: “Senior version of Jesus Loves Me”
Here is a new version just for us who have white hair or no hair at all. For us over middle age (or even those almost there) and all you others, check out this newest version of Jesus Loves Me.
JESUS LOVES ME
Jesus loves me, this I know,
Though my hair is white as snow
Though my sight is growing dim,
Still He bids me trust in
Him.
(CHORUS)
YES, JESUS LOVES ME.. YES, JESUS LOVES ME..
YES, JESUS LOVES ME, FOR THE BIBLE TELLS ME SO.
Though my steps are oh, so slow,
With my hand in His I’ll go
On through life, let come what may,
He’ll be there to lead the way.
(CHORUS)
When the nights are dark and long,
In my heart He puts a song..
Telling me in words so clear,
“Have no fear, for I am near.”
(CHORUS)
When my work on earth is done,
And life’s victories have been won.
He will take me home above,
Then I’ll understand His love.
(CHORUS)
I love Jesus, does He know?
Have I ever told Him so?
Jesus loves to hear me say ,
That I love Him every day.

Billy Graham’s Prayer For Our Nation:

‘Heavenly Father, we come before you today to ask your forgiveness and to seek your direction and guidance. We know Your Word says, ‘Woe to those who call evil good,’ but that is exactly what we have done. We have lost our spiritual equilibrium and reversed our values. We have exploited the poor and called it the lottery. We have rewarded laziness and called it welfare.. We have killed our unborn and called it choice. We have shot abortionists and called it justifiable. We have neglected to discipline our children and called it building self esteem. We have abused power and called it politics.. We have coveted our neighbor’s possessions and called it ambition. We have polluted the air with profanity and pornography and called it freedom of expression. We have ridiculed the time-honored values of our forefathers and called it enlightenment. Search us, Oh God, and know our hearts today; cleanse us from every sin and Set us free. Amen!’
