The Obama Doctrine… Vagueness
Enemy’s List and Takeover of the Internet:
Name me one major policy that is clear and concise since President Obama has taken office. I just finished reading an article by Declan McCullah, correspondent for CBSNews.com, posted on the Drudge Report. He reports on a bill slithering its way through the Senate (55 page draft S.773) which has the potential to drastically curtain the internet blogs. “The new version would allow the president to ‘declare a cybersecurity emergency’ relating to ‘non-governmental’ computer networks and do what’s necessary to respond to the threat.” Larry Clinton of Internet Security Alliance states that the bill is troubling “due to its vagueness”. He is concerned that “It is unclear what authority Sen. Rockefeller thinks is necessary over the private sector. Unless this is clarified, we cannot properly analyze, let alone support the bill.” A spokesman for Rockefeller declined comment, according to McCullah.
The Federal Reserve:
The Federal Reserve loaned its two trillion dollars, but refuses to tell to whom it lent the money. According to Drew Zahn of Worldnetdaily.com: “The Federal Reserve Board, despite being ordered to disclose to whom it awarded roughly $2 trillion in discount “stimulus” loans, is fighting to keep the information under wraps as a protected “trade secret.” So for an administration who promised ‘transparency’ we have more vagueness. What is the big deal about to whom we loaned what? Zahn states: “Earlier this week, a U.S. district court judge rejected the Fed’s argument that the names of borrowers are exempt from disclosure under the Freedom of Information Act and ordered the board to release the information by Monday, Aug. 31.” But the Feds Board has filed “a motion asking the judge to delay enforcement of the order.” So why the vagueness?
Auto Industry:
Then there is the question about the takeover of the two auto giants, the disenfranchisement of the bond holders, and the outright gifts to the unions… why were these ideas not vetted in Congress? Why were they decided behind closed doors by Presidential appointees?
Czars:
This brings up the questions of the 32 Czars. What is the need for these czars? Why are they accountable only to the Executive Branch? By what Constitutional authority can these presidential appointees be given tax payer funds without congressional approval? For that matter several of these Czars have criminal records and/or are avowed Communists (Glen Beck Fox News). And why, just like the secret solution for the auto industry, have they not been vetted by Congress? Why the secrecy, why the vagueness… after all this president has the security of a Congressional majority in both Houses?
Health Care:
Can you remember what he said about health care, social security and Medicare? He claimed he had a ‘solution’. Yet neither he, nor the Congress have read the House’s version of Obamacare, over 1000 pages already passed, or the Senate version, over 600 pages, still pending. He has spied on us common folk, via the Internet, and according to some, compiled an enemy’s list (Megyn Kelly Fox News 8/14/09); at least Nixon had a hostile press and Congress as rationale for his paranoia, President Obama has no excuse, both the press and Congress are more than happy to carry his message. This guy makes Nixon look like Charlie Brown. But to the point, H3200, the House bill has basic end of life couseling, which has already been imposed on the Veterans Administration (Chris Wallace Foix News) which questions if those in wheelchairs, depressed, or incapacitated are worthy of treatment. Has it not been ironic that none of the proponets of this program have made the claim that the quality of research and care would improve?
War:
Wait do we still have troops in Kosovo, Iraq, and Afghanistan? Is North Korea and Iran still rattling their sabres and threatening America with annihilation? Becasue I thought that candidate Obama said they would all be home by June and that the fight in Afghanistan would be relatively easy. Afterall, that, we were told was the fight or war or ‘confrontation’ we should be waging. Then Obama allowed his Attorney General, Eric Holder, and Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, to slander and now potentially prosecute the CIA… and perhaps more importantly change the Rules of Engagement for our soldiers and Marines. They cannot return fire or intervene if they are close to a village (500 meters). They must Mirandize captured terrorists. And from NATO, they cannot question those they capture, rather they must hand them over to the Afghan Government, which promptly sets them free to kill more Americans. Is it any wonder we are losing that war, a war that was virtually won under Bush? As a result more of our military were killed in August, thus far, than in any month we have been engaged in the Afghan theatre. I am the uncle and grandfather of three brave men in the military, and yes, I am upset that the ROE have changed. We were kept safe for eight years under the Bush Administgration, and rather than find out the techniques used to keep us safe, this administgration has trashed them and now threaten prosecution. President Obama said he had a plan to capture bin Laden… well it was never explained, it was only a vague plan, one which is obviously not working… but then again surrender never has been a valid means of warfare.
Birth Certificate:
The whole birth certificate fiasco has gone on ad nausea. But why the vagueness… why not just reveal the document… if he has it?

Deficit:
Who can forget last weeks’ two trillion dollar error in our National Debt (from 7 to 9 trillion dollars). How can anybody make a 2 million million dollar mistake? Let’s put that in plain English, if you spent a million dollars a day for a 2 million days (or 5, 479.45 YEARS), then you understand gravity of this problem. This is a figure which is unsustainable by any means. Yet the man keeps telling us he has a plan… but he refuses to reveal it. My question at this time is simply, does he really have a plan? If so… what is it? It is time to realize none of his financial plans have worked, despite him tripling Bush’s deficit. His revealed plan can only lead to runaway inflation along with extremely higher taxes, because neither Congress, nor this President, have the intestinal fortitude to enforce tried and true Capitalistic methods: cuts. The budget must be cut and balance, and taxes must be cut to stimulate the economy.
Civilian Force… for what and to protect us against whom?
Oh yea, one more thing, his civilian force, “funded and equipped as well as the military”. Yet he refuses to tell us its duty or need… and here’s a scary thought, who is this enemy that will require a new force, loyal to only the president? Yet it hangs out there like some vague threat to whom: Conservatives, Constitutionalists, or rich white men? When did these groups become a threat to our society, rather than part of our society.
When we the people question his motives, authority, or rational… even conservative minorities, we are called bigots. All I ask is for him to answer the questions… based on revealed facts, methodology, and without emotion or promises. And the lack of details and answers are the reasons that I simply cannot support this man’s ideas.
Blogger’s Corner…
Blogger Bud sends this very IMPORTANT ADVISE
If you pay your bills by check, then you need to watch this film. This is VERY interesting and you need to go get a Uniball 207 pen!!!! Wal-Mart and Office Depot have them. They are marked “Helps Prevent Check Fraud” on the packaging.

Obama’s Plan to Desecrate 9/11
By Matthew Vadum on 8.24.09 @ 6:08AM
The Obama White House is behind a cynical, coldly calculated political effort to erase the meaning of the Sept. 11, 2001 terrorist attacks from the American psyche and convert Sept. 11 into a day of leftist celebration and statist idolatry.
This effort to reshape the American psyche has nothing to do with healing the nation and everything to do with easing the nation along in the ongoing radical transformation of America that President Obama promised during last year’s election campaign. The president signed into law a measure in April that designated Sept. 11 as a National Day of Service, but it’s not likely many lawmakers thought this meant that day was going to be turned into a celebration of ethanol, carbon emission controls, and radical community organizing.
The administration’s plans were outlined in an Aug. 11 White House-sponsored teleconference call run by Obama ally Lennox Yearwood, president of the Hip Hop Caucus, and Liv Havstad, the group’s senior vice president of strategic partnerships and programs.
Yearwood, who uses the honorific “Reverend” before his name, has been in the news in recent years, usually for getting arrested. After Democrats took back Congress, the rowdy activist was handcuffed outside a congressional hearing in September 2007 when Gen. David Petraeus was to testify. Yearwood told the “Democracy Now” radio program that he wanted to attend the hearing to hear Petraeus give his report. “I knew that when officers lie, soldiers die,” he said.
On the Aug. 11 call, Yearwood and other leaders kept saying repeatedly that they wanted 9/11 to be used for something “positive,” “forward-leaning,” and “productive,” said a source with knowledge of the teleconference.
The plan is to turn a “day of fear” that helps Republicans into a day of activism called the National Day of Service that helps the left. In other words, nihilistic liberals are planning to drain 9/11 of all meaning.
“They think it needs to be taken back from the right,” said the source. “They’re taking that day and they’re breaking it because it gives Republicans an advantage. To them, that day is a fearful day.”
A coalition including the unsavory left-wing pressure group Color of Change and about 60 far-left, environmentalist, labor, and corporate shakedown groups participated in the call. Groups on the call included: ACORN, AFL-CIO, Apollo Alliance, Community Action Partnership, Deep South Center for Environmental Justice, 80 Million Strong for Young American Jobs, Friends of the Earth, Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, Mobilize.org, National Black Police Association, National Coalition on Black Civic Participation, National Council of Negro Women, National Wildlife Federation, RainbowPUSH Coalition, Urban League, and Young Democrats of America.
Color of Change is the extremist racial grievance group that isn’t happy that TV’s Glenn Beck did several news (go to American Spectator and search for the rest of the story)

A solution sent to us from Blogger Pam:
TO COMBAT THE OFFICIAL CHANGES IN 911, an American flag should be displayed outside every home, apartment, office, and store in the United States. Every individual should make it their duty to display an American flag on this eighth anniversary of one of our country’s worst tragedies. We do this to honor those who lost their lives on 9/11, their families, friends and loved ones who continue to endure the pain, and those who today are fighting at home and abroad to preserve our cherished freedoms.
In the days, weeks and months following 9/11, our country was bathed in American flags as citizens mourned the incredible losses and stood shoulder-to-shoulder against terrorism. Sadly, those flags have all but disappeared. Our patriotism pulled us through some tough times and it shouldn’t take another attack to galvanize us in solidarity. Our American flag is the fabric of our country and together we can prevail over terrorism of all kinds
Action Plan:
So, here’s what we need you to do:
Fly an American flag of any size on 9/11. Honestly, Americans should fly the flag year-round, but if you don’t, then at least make it a priority on this day.
Thank you for your participation. God Bless You and God Bless America!

Candidate Obama refused to pledge to our flag… why?

The Great Escape
By Thomas Sowell http://www.JewishWorldReview.com
Many of the issues of our times are hard to understand without understanding the vision of the world that they are part of. Whether the particular issue is education, economics or medical care, the preferred explanation tends to be an external explanation— that is, something outside the control of the individuals directly involved.
Education is usually discussed in terms of the money spent on it, the teaching methods used, class sizes or the way the whole system is organized. Students are discussed largely as passive recipients of good or bad education.
But education is not something that can be given to anybody. It is something that students either acquire or fail to acquire. Personal responsibility may be ignored or downplayed in this “non-judgmental” age, but it remains a major factor nevertheless.
After many students go through a dozen years in the public schools, at a total cost of $100,000 or more per student— and emerge semi-literate and with little understanding of the society in which they live, much less the larger world and its history— most discussions of what is wrong leave out the fact that many such students may have chosen to use school as a place to fool around, act up, organize gangs or even peddle drugs. Lighter side from Marilyn:
An elderly gentleman….
Had serious hearing problems for a number of years. He went to the doctor and the doctor was able to have him fitted for a set of hearing aids that allowed the gentleman to hear 100%
The elderly gentleman went back in a month to the doctor and the doctor said, ‘Your hearing is perfect.. Your family must be really pleased that you can hear again.’
The gentleman replied, ‘Oh, I haven’t told my family yet.
I just sit around and listen to the conversations. I’ve changed my will three times!’
Two elderly gentlemen from a retirement center were sitting on a bench under a tree when one turns to the other and says: ‘Slim, I’m 83 years old now and I’m just full of aches and pains. I know you’re about my age. How do you feel?’
Slim says, ‘I feel just like a newborn baby.’
‘Really!? Like a newborn baby!?’
‘Yep. No hair, no teeth, and I think I just wet my pants.’
An elderly couple had dinner at another couple’s house, and after eating, the wives left the table and went into the kitchen.
The two gentlemen were talking, and one said, ‘Last night we went out to a new restaurant and it was really great.. I would recommend it very highly.’
The other man said, ‘What is the name of the restaurant?’
The first man thought and thought and finally said, ‘What is the name of that flower you give to someone you love?
You know…. The one that’s red and has thorns.’
‘Do you mean a rose?’
‘Yes, that’s the one,’ replied the man. He then turned towards the kitchen and yelled, ‘Rose, what’s the name of that restaurant we went to last night?’
Hospital regulations require a wheel chair for patients being discharged. However, while working as a student nurse, I found one elderly gentleman already dressed and sitting on the bed with a suitcase at his feet, who insisted he didn’t need my help to leave the hospital.
After a chat about rules being rules, he reluctantly let me wheel him to the elevator.
On the way down I asked him if his wife was meeting him.
‘I don’t know,’ he said. ‘She’s still upstairs in the bathroom changing out of her hospital gown.’
Couple in their nineties are both having problems remembering things. During a checkup, the doctor tells them that they’re physically okay, but they might want to start writing things down to help them remember ..
Later that night, while watching TV, the old man gets up from his chair. ‘Want anything while I’m in the kitchen?’ he asks.
‘Will you get me a bowl of ice cream?’
‘Sure..’
‘Don’t you think you should write it down so you can remember it?’ she asks.
‘No, I can remember it.’
‘Well, I’d like some strawberries on top, too. Maybe you should write it down, so as not to forget it?’
He says, ‘I can remember that. You want a bowl of ice cream with strawberries.’
‘I’d also like whipped cream. I’m certain you’ll forget that, write it down?’ she asks.
Irritated, he says, ‘I don’t need to write it down, I can remember it! Ice cream with strawberries and whipped cream – I got it, for goodness sake!’
Then he toddles into the kitchen. After about 20 minutes, The old man returns from the kitchen and hands his wife a plate of bacon and eggs.. She stares at the plate for a moment. ‘Where’s my toast ?’
A senior citizen said to his eighty-year old buddy:
‘So I hear you’re getting married?’
‘Yep!’
‘Do I know her?’
‘Nope!’
‘This woman, is she good looking?’
‘Not really.’
‘Is she a good cook?’
‘Naw, she can’t cook too well.’
‘Does she have lots of money?’
‘Nope! Poor as a church mouse.’
‘Well, then, is she good in bed?’
‘I don’t know.’
‘Why in the world do you want to marry her then?’
‘Because she can still drive!’
Three old guys are out walking.
First one says, ‘Windy, isn’t it?’
Second one says, ‘No, it’s Thursday!’
Third one says, ‘So am I. Let’s go get a beer..’
A man was telling his neighbor, ‘I just bought a new hearing aid. It cost me four thousand dollars, but it’s state of the art.. It’s perfect.’
‘Really,’ answered the neighbor . ‘What kind is it?’
‘Twelve thirty..’
Morris, an 82 year-old man, went to the doctor to get a physical.
A few days later, the doctor saw Morris walking down the street with a gorgeous young woman on his arm.
A couple of days later, the doctor spoke to Morris and said, ‘You’re really doing great, aren’t you?’
Morris replied, ‘Just doing what you said, Doc: ‘Get a hot mamma and be cheerful.”
The doctor said, ‘I didn’t say that.. I said, ‘You’ve got a heart murmur; be careful.’
Blogger MARCEL says… Here’s to US!!!!
No matter what our kids and the new generation think about us, To Those of Us Born 1930 – 1979
TO ALL THE KIDS WHO SURVIVED THE 1930′s, 40′s, 50′s, 60′s and 70′s!!
First, we survived being born to mothers who smoked and/or drank while they were pregnant.
They took aspirin, ate blue cheese dressing, tuna from a can and didn’t get tested for diabetes.
Then after that trauma, we were put to sleep on our tummies in baby cribs covered with bright colored lead-base paints.
We had no childproof lids on medicine bottles, locks on doors or cabinets and when we rode our bikes, we had baseball caps not helmets on our heads.
As infants & children, we would ride in cars with no car seats, no booster seats, no seat belts, no air bags, bald tires and sometimes no brakes.
Riding in the back of a pick- up truck on a warm day was always a special treat.
We drank water from the garden hose and not from a bottle.
We shared one soft drink with four friends, from one bottle and no one actually died from this.
We ate cupcakes, white bread, real butter and bacon. We drank Kool-Aid made with real white sugar. And, we weren’t overweight.. WHY?
Because we were always outside playing…that’s why!
We would leave home in the morning and play all day, as long as we were back when the streetlights came on..
No one was able to reach us all day. And, we were OKAY.
We would spend hours building our go-carts out of scraps
and then ride them down the hill, only to find out we forgot the brakes. After running into the bushes a few times, we learned to solve the problem
We did not have Play stations, Nintendo’s and X-boxes. There were no video games, no 150 channels on cable, no video movies or DVD’s, no surround-sound or CD’s, no cell phones, no personal computers, no Internet and no chat rooms.
Instead, WE HAD FRIENDS and we went outside and found them!
We fell out of trees, got cut, broke bones and teeth and there were no lawsuits from these accidents.
We would get spankings with wooden spoons, switches, ping pong paddles, or just a bare hand and no one would call child services to report abuse.
We ate worms and mud pies made from dirt, and the worms did not live in us forever.
We were given BB guns for our 10th birthdays, made up games with sticks and tennis balls and, although we were told it would happen, we did not put out very many eyes..
We rode bikes or walked to a friend’s house and knocked on the door or rang the bell, or just walked in and talked to them
Little League had tryouts and not everyone made the team.
Those who didn’t had to learn to deal with disappointment.
Imagine that!!
The idea of a parent bailing us out if we broke the law was unheard of. They actually sided with the law! These generations have produced some of the best risk-takers, problem solvers and inventors ever. The past 50 years have been an explosion of innovation and new ideas. We had freedom, failure, success and responsibility, and we learned how to deal with it all.
If YOU are one of them, CONGRATULATIONS!

From Davenport Richard:
Taliban and the Jew
A fleeing Taliban, desperate for water, was plodding through the Afghanistan desert when he saw something far off in the distance.
Hoping to find water, he hurried toward the object, only to find a little old Jewish man at a small stand selling ties.
The Taliban asked: ‘Do you have water?’
The Jewish man replied: ‘I have no water. Would you like to buy a tie? They are only US$5 ….’
The Taliban shouted: ‘Idiot! I do not need an over-priced tie.
I need water! I should kill you, but I must find water first!’
‘OK,’ said the old Jewish man, ‘it does not matter that you do not want to buy a tie and that you hate me.
‘I will show you that I am bigger than that. If you continue over that hill to the east for about two miles, you will find a lovely restaurant.
‘It has all the ice cold water you need. Shalom.’
Muttering, the Taliban staggered away over the hill.
Several hours later he staggered back, almost dead.
‘Your damn brother won’t let me in without a tie!
The research I did this past week and the Glenn Beck Show research this week….. It EVERY AMERICAN is not at their STATE Capitals this 9-12 or in D.C there will be a 2nd American Revolution and it will not be pretty….. God promised never to destroy the world again with water with the sign of the rainbow. Guess what, Fire is next. What is a nuclear blast? Yes that is right, FIRE. In addition, when you give over local state and federal power to a “One World Government” Ideal, what is your idea for a “perfect America? Seriously answer that. Are they doing that in your state? Are they doing that in D.C.? If not, what are they there? Why is all the power of Government in the federal government when the original intent of the Constitution was for State’s Sovereignty and only yielding to the fed for issues of Border Security, National Security and International Security. Think the Federal Government has over stepped its control? You are not alone….. THE CONSTITUTION OF THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA BACKS YOU UP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
conservatives must understand, be they Christian or not, that the Constitution is the foundation and it must be followed… as far as any spiritual aspect, that will be up to the Lord and nobody knows the time/date… moreover, nowhere do I see a human intervention to precipitate the End Times in Scripture…
