Time for a New Political Party

When do governments accomplish legislation in secret? When do they do act without the consent or the will of the people? When do to they lock doors or pass bills on Holy Days (holidays) or weekends? When? When they are malevolent and want to control their constituents and rob them of liberties. This tactic has happened in almost every democracy once the people allow ‘professional politicians’ to rule based on their own well being, rather than the well being of their constituency.
There is only one conclusion to be made when they do not allow the people to know what is in said legislation. It is legislation which curtails freedoms.
The Health Bill presently being bullied through Congress is the thrid major bill passed without debate from the opposition since President Obama has taken office. Make no mistake America, these professional politicians not only from the Democratic Majority, but also Republicans, are corrupt, evil doers, and dishonest to the core. They need to be replaced. Their kinds of legislations always further their wicked intents because they stem from corrupt individuals mistakenly given power by the people. They are men and women of both political parties who insist that they hold onto power at any cost… and make no mistake the cost is liberty.
I for one will back a new party… one I would dub the “Constitution Party”; one which would return to the parameters put forth by our Founders in the Constitution and legislate within that sacred seventeen page document; and one which would have as its goal a Constitutional Amendment for Term Limits on all levels of the Federal Government. The Amendment would also include a mandate for a balanced budget (with the specific exception of a budget formulated during a declared war). Each Senator and Representative would serve a maximum of two four year terms; each judge, including Supreme Court Justices would serve a maximum of two 6 year terms, and each President a maximum of one 6 year term. Judges would be elected, with the exception of Supreme Court. Senators would again be constitutionally selected by State Legislators. In this way the budget would be cut and balanced; our liberties would be returned; and our grandchildren would be assured the same hope in the American dream which we once had.

TRUTH or Consequence

We live in a very frustrating time; one which has jettisoned logic in favor of relativism; one which denies an ultimate TRUTH, one which is doomed to its unnecessary destiny… unless a few good men and women step forward to save America, to make a difference. Make no mistake, relativism now reins and has been embraced by both parties. Its actions are cloaked as Political Correctness, which is foundationally inconsistent and unfair. It is doled out by the elite to groups and causes they deem beneficial to themselves and their lust for power. It is evil in its intent. This is an untenable situation for freedom, when despots, no matter their rhetoric, no matter their political affiliation, deny TRUTH, they ignore the consequence. Moreover, only those with integrity which was once inherent in professions likes the military, medicine, and teaching were willing to deny their own well being for the welfare of others. But today even some of those professions have been inundated with self serving unions supported by self serving professional politicians.
What is more, logic demands, that if no TRUTH, then there is no right, no wrong. But I ask, why is it that good parents in all societies attempt to put parameters on their children’s behavior, if not to lessen negative consequences to them later on in life? Why is it that governments enact laws to help minorities, if not to grant them rights, which are inalienable? In-a-lien-able rights are by definition not manmade, rather they are granted by a Creator to its subjects made in His Image. They are rights which no other human can challenge or place a lien against. Therefore, elected representatives, politicians, must be men of good will and women of integrity. They are put in control of our liberties, they must, above all other things, be unselfish and purveyors of TRUTH. They must accomplish their deeds in the light of day, not behind locked doors in secret. They must not be afraid of open debate… debate which will inform the people of the impending legislation, and the consequence it carries. Moreover, they must not found their laws on scientific theory, on pop psychology, or on emotion, they must base their laws on conclusions reasoned from demonstrable facts with known consequences… within the parameters of the Constitution. We must return to these constraints no matter the effect on the well being of self or political party and/or agenda. America is on the precipice of self destruction due to those who dub themselves as Politically Correct. They seek after only self gain in all their venues of ‘service’. They refuse to even acknowledge inalienable rights, legitimacy, or the American dream. We must return to a political atmosphere based on reality concluded by facts and reasoned by logic. These must be our national and international goals not because America is haughty and pretend to know what is best for other societies, but because we know there is a TRUTH and seek it for the benefit of mankind. Compassion does not merely consist of emotion, but emotion driven by love whose goal is to selflessly lessen negative consequences. And the only way to accomplish that goal is to return to a society in which compassion is based on TRUTH.

Global Warming… Indeed!

The Lord always has a way of making man the fool, as in global warming. This ‘science’ will not even consider the sun as a source of our temperature fluctuations. Not only that the earth has warmed (and cooled for the past ten years) at the same rate as the other planets in our solar system… last time I looked there were no ‘evil SUVs’ on Jupiter… but hey, that is unfair of me to use logic and TRUTH as a weapon against the Politically Correct! As a popular politician might have said in the 90’s… It’s the Sun Stupid!
And by the way with that two feet of snow and blizzards in the Northeast, don’t you just love the Lord’s sense of humor? He sends Copenhagen a blizzard during the UN Conference on the Global Warming Debacle. Then the American left, so concerned over carbon footprints insist that they each have their own private jets carry them to the conference, leaving a hypocritical fo0otprint so large that it will cost tens of thousands of new trees to soak in all that carbon dioxide. If that is not enough, Russia announces that none of their data was included in the calculation that the globe is warming. For those of you that are helplessly inane, look at the globe… what nation has the greatest expanse of arctic weather in the northern hemisphere?

Blizzard Dumps Snow on Copenhagen as Leaders Battle Warming

Dec. 17 (Bloomberg) — World leaders flying into Copenhagen today to discuss a solution to global warming will first face freezing weather as a blizzard dumped 10 centimeters (4 inches) of snow on the Danish capital overnight.
“Temperatures will stay low at least the next three days,” Henning Gisseloe, an official at Denmark’s Meteorological Institute, said today by telephone, forecasting more snow in coming days. “There’s a good chance of a white Christmas.”
Delegates from 193 countries have been in Copenhagen since Dec. 7 to discuss how to fund global greenhouse gas emission cuts. U.S. President Barack Obama will arrive before the summit is scheduled to end tomorrow.
Denmark has a maritime climate and milder winters than its Scandinavian neighbors. It hasn’t had a white Christmas for 14 years, under the DMI’s definition, and only had seven last century. Temperatures today fell as low as minus 4 Celsius (25 Fahrenheit).
DMI defines a white Christmas as 90 percent of the country being covered by at least 2 centimeters of snow on the afternoon of Dec. 24.

From Blogger: E$PN looses Green in Attempt to Turn Green

In case you haven’t heard, on Saturday the ESPN television network injected global warming climate change propaganda into hours of their television programming.
Instead of simply broadcasting the University of Kansas v. University of Michigan college basketball game they decided to engage in political propaganda. Calling it the “Green Game” they had their announcers suggesting to viewers there would be devastating consequences if carbon emissions were not reduced.
And this all took place just as Barack Obama and other junk science scammers are trying to pass a climate change treaty in Copenhagen.

The beginning of the end?

NASIRIYAH, Iraq (AFP) – Iranian forces took control of a southern Iraqi oil well on a disputed section of the border on Friday, US and Iraqi officials told AFP.
“There has been no violence related to this incident and we trust this will be resolved through peaceful diplomacy between the governments of Iraq and Iran,” a US military spokesman told AFP at Contingency Operating Base Adder, just outside the southern Iraqi city of Nasiriyah.
“The oil field is in disputed territory in between Iranian and Iraqi border forts,” he said, adding that such incidents occur quite frequently.
An official of the state-owned South Oil Co in the southeastern city of Amara, and west of the field, said: “An Iranian force arrived at the field early this morning (Friday).
“It took control of Well 4 and raised the Iranian flag even though the well lies in Iraqi territory,” the official added.
“An oil ministry delegation is to travel to the area on Saturday to assess the situation.”
The national security council was due to hold an emergency meeting on Friday chaired by Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki, Iraqi state television said quoting the minister of state for national security, Shirwan al-Waili.
The council also groups the ministers of interior, defence, foreign affairs, justice and finance…

Dear Mr. Rand,
Recently you sent us a letter encouraging us to renew our lapsed membership in AARP by the requested date. I know it is not what you were looking for, but this is the most honest response I can give you. Our gap in coverage is merely a microscopic symptom of the real problem, a deepening lack of faith.
While we have proudly maintained our membership for several years and have long admired the AARP goals and principles, regrettably, we can no longer endorse it’s abdication of our values. Your letter specifically stated that we can count on AARP to speak up for our rights, yet the voice we hear is not ours. Your offer of being kept up to date on important issues through DIVIDED WE FAIL presents neither an impartial view nor the one we have come to embrace. We do believe that when two parties agree all the time on everything presented to them, one is probably not necessary. But, when the opinions and long term goals are diametrically opposed, the divorce is imminent. This is the philosophy which spawned our 200 years of government.
Once upon a time, we looked forward to being part of the senior demographic. We also looked to AARP to provide certain benefits and give our voice a power we could not possibly hope to achieve on our own. AARP gave us a sense of belonging which we no longer enjoy. The Socialist politics practiced by the Obama administration and empowered by AARP serves only to raise the blood pressure my medical insurance strives to contain. Clearly a conflict of interest there!
We do not understand the AARP posture, feel greatly betrayed by the guiding forces that we expected to map out our senior years and leave your ranks with a great sense of regret. We mitigate that disappointment with the relief of knowing that we are not contributing to the problem anymore by renewing our membership. There are numerous other organizations which offer discounts without threatening our way of life or offending our sensibilities.
This Presidential Administration scares the living daylights out of us. Not just for ourselves, but for our proud and bloodstained heritage. But even more importantly for our children and grandchildren. Washington has rendered Soylent Green a prophetic cautionary tale rather than a nonfiction scare tactic. I have never in my life endorsed any militant or radical groups, yet now I find myself listening to them. I don’t have to agree with them to appreciate the fear which birthed their existence. Their borderline insanity presents little more than a balance to the voice of the Socialist mindset in power. Perhaps I became American by a great stroke of luck in some cosmic uterine lottery, but in my adulthood I CHOOSE to embrace it and nurture the freedoms it represents as well as the responsibilities it requires.
Your website generously offers us the opportunity to receive all communication in Spanish. ARE YOU KIDDING??? Someone has broken into our ‘house’, invaded our home without our invitation or consent. The President has insisted we keep the perpetrator in comfort and learn the perp language so we can communicate our reluctant welcome to them.
I DON’T choose to welcome them. I DON’T choose to support them. I DON’T choose to educate them. I DON’T choose to medicate them, pay for their food or clothing. American home invaders get arrested. Please explain to me why foreign lawbreakers can enjoy privileges on American soil that Americans do not get? Why do some immigrants have to play the game to be welcomed and others only have to break & enter to be welcomed?
We travel for a living. Walt hauls horses all over this great country, averaging over 10,000 miles a month when he is out there. He meets more people than a politician on caffeine overdose. Of all the many good folks he enjoyed on this last 10,000 miles, this trip yielded only ONE supporter of the current administration. One of us is out of touch with mainstream America . Since our poll is conducted without funding, I have more faith in it than one which is power driven.
We have decided to forward this to everyone on our mailing list, and will encourage them to do the same. With several hundred in my address book, I have every faith that the eventual exponential factor will make a credible statement to you.
I am disappointed as hell. I am scared as hell. I am MAD as hell, and I’m NOT gonna take it anymore!

House approves $290 billion increase in debt limit

WASHINGTON (AP) – The House on Wednesday passed legislation giving the federal government the ability to borrow a whopping $290 billion to finance its operations for just six additional weeks.
The 218-214 vote sends the must-pass bill to the Senate, which is expected to approve it as its last act before adjourning for the year. The alternative would be a market-rattling, first-ever default on U.S. obligations.
The measure is needed as a result of the out-of-control budget deficit, which registered $1.4 trillion for the budget year that ended in September. The current debt ceiling is $12.1 trillion and is set to be reached by Dec. 31.
Democrats had hoped to pass a far larger increase of almost $2 trillion to avoid another vote before next year’s midterm elections – and to wrap the increase into the popular defense appropriations bill to give some political cover.
But that plan fell apart amid opposition from about a dozen Senate Democratic moderates, who say they will refuse to vote for a debt limit increase unless it is accompanied by legislation to establish a new bipartisan task force to come up with a plan to curb the deficit. That idea is opposed by Democratic leaders such as House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif.
Wednesday’s bill delays the showdown in February…

THE LIE DETECTOR

John was a salesman’s delight when it came to any kind of unusual gimmicks. His wife, Marsha, had long ago given up trying to get him to change.

One day John came home with another one of his unusual purchases. It was a robot that John claimed was actually a lie detector.

It was about 5:30 that afternoon when Tommy, their 11 year old son, returned home from school. Tommy was over 2 hours late..

“Where have you been? Why are you over 2 hours late getting home?” asked John ..

“Several of us went to the library to work on an extra credit project,” said Tommy.

The robot walked around the table and slapped Tommy, knocking him completely out of his chair.

“Son,” said John , “this robot is a lie detector, now tell us where you really were after school.”

“We went to Bobby’s house and watched a movie.” said Tommy.

“What did you watch?” asked Marsha.

“The Ten Commandments.” answered Tommy.

The robot went around to Tommy and once again slapped him, knocking him off his chair.

With his lip quivering, Tommy got up, sat down and said, “I am sorry I lied. We really watched a tape called Sex Queen.”

“I am ashamed of you son,” said John .. “When I was your age, I never lied to my parents.”

The robot walked around to John and delivered a whack that nearly knocked him out of his chair.

Marsha doubled over in laughter, almost in tears and said, “Boy, did you ever ask for that one! You can’t be too mad with Tommy. After all, he is your son!”

The robot walked around to Marsha and knocked her out of her chair.
